Sanai Pax is talking to her brother Theo from a distant planet when something terrible happens. As his phone clatters to the floor, she knows he is dead.

Sanai doesn’t like space travel because of her heightened sense of gravity. She has a rare talent inherited from her father’s family of being able to fold space. She keeps this talent well hidden for fear of becoming a slave.

She must travel to the planet Metron to find out what happened to her brother.
