About Me

I started writing because I read another author’s bio and he said if you have a story in your head then just write it and see what happens. So I tried it. I was amazed at my accomplishment. So I kept writing and found it was very fulfilling. It satisfied that creative side of me that I didn’t know existed.

I’m a farmer by nature and spend my summers taking care of our small farm that mostly grows fruit. I prune, thin and harvest with a whole lot of little jobs in between. We grow peaches, nectarine, apples, pear, cherries and plum. We also have a nice vineyard of Concord grapes. We also do strawberries and raspberries. I don’t do much writing in the summer.

I have more hobbies than I know what to do with. I like doing triathlons, gardening, sewing, wood working and any craft I have time for.

I graduated from BYU with a bachelors in Computer Science. I know that most authors start writing at a young age with dreams of becoming an author. That wasn’t me. In fact I hated reading. Maybe I have dyslexia or some other condition, but reading was a challenge and I avoided it. I love watching kids devour books and wished I had been like that.

I love living in Utah with my husband and 4 children and 8 grandchildren. They are a blessing in my life.
